Omg, I think I may have just found my new favorite sushi spot! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon it while strolling down Ventura Blvd. It was quite busy, which we took as a good sign. We walked in without a reservation and the host was exceptionally kind and efficient. He offered us a table but mentioned it needed to be available in 30 minutes for a reservation, which we were perfectly fine with. Despite our time constraint, we never felt rushed. The food arrived promptly, and our server was very attentive. The freshness of the fish was remarkable- so fresh, it felt like the chef was cutting it right off the bones just for us! We ordered a few different items including rolls and sashimi, the albacore carpaccio was our absolute favorite. The restaurant has a charming and modern vibe. Although it's a smaller space, it doesn't feel overcrowded. I'll definitely make a reservation next time, but I'm also happy to walk in for a quick bite. I'm thrilled we came upon this gem.

10/10! I wish I found about this sushi spot earlier. The fish is extremely fresh, the service is magnificent, and the atmosphere is super cozy! Highly recommend making reservations because it is a small place and limited seating. We ordered the Citrus Roll, Yume Roll & Garlic Albacore Roll. Delicious, delicious & delicious! Only down side is they do not service soft drinks, only water, wine, and sake. Overall, 10/10!

Everything was bomb Was obsessed with the seared salmon nigiri and service was also great. Sat at the bar after making reservations online and everything was quick and good quality. Def will come back.

Okay I found my favorite sushi spot. Fresh sushi practically melts in your mouth. Great service. Sat at the bar ordered straight from the sushi chef. Prices were good too for the quality you get. We expected it to be much more expensive.

We had such a lovely dinner here the other day, we walked in right at opening and sat at the bar. The person working behind the bar was awesome and the staff were very welcoming! There were sooo many menu items my husband wanted to try so we just started ordering one after the other and everything we had was delicious! I will say that some items were great, but we have had better at other sushi restaurants, such as the albacore belly and otoro. However, they had items that made them stand out such as their seabass roll and oysters. The seabass roll and handroll had such a unique combination of ingredients, it was definitely the star of the dinner. A must order here is the albacore sashimi, cucumber sunomono, spicy tuna handroll, seabass roll, garlic roll and seabass handroll. We asked the chef behind the bar to make a couple of their favorites for us and they were so happy to do it and their concoctions definitely didn't disappoint! Overall this place is amazing, but my only issue are the prices. Is it pricey? Yes. Can you find more expensive or cheaper places? Absolutely. My issue is for what we pay here, I have had better sushi or equivalent for better prices, therefore it doesn't make sense for me to come here often. Not saying it's not worth it here, we had a solid, delicious dinner, but I've had just as amazing quality (if not better) for a better price.

The reservation gave me the choice of patio or bar. I picked the bar since I was going at dinner time. I had to put down my credit card for the reservation and they were going to charge me if I didn't show. Right when I sat down, a server brought me a wet towel for my hands and a basket to put my bag in. The sushi chef prepared the hand roll in front of us at the bar and handed it to us. The other items I ordered came to me pretty fast as well. I liked that they gave me a lot of ginger. I didn't see a parking lot but I was able to find a spot on the street around the corner.

Cute sushi spot perfect for a date night! Went on a Tuesday at around 6pm and we were told reservations for indoors were full, so we had to sit outside. No worries because they had plenty of heaters and it was comfortable! So I recommend making a reservation ahead of time just in case, especially on the weekend. We ordered miso soup, oysters with white onion and yume sauce, shishito peppers, crispy rice with tuna, green dragon roll, creamy salmon roll, and yellowtail cilantro roll. Everything was tasty and super fresh! My standouts were the oysters, crispy rice and green dragon roll!

We came in on a Saturday night right before the holidays. No reservation so we had the choice to sit at the bar or outside. We chose the bar. AMBIANCE: 4 STARS It feels like a hole in the wall but more upscale. They bring you wet wipes as soon as you sit. The restaurant is well lit but not too bright. SERVICE: 5 STARS The sushi chef we got brought everything in a nice pace and in the perfect order. We did get some hot appetizers and those also were brought out in a timely manner. All the staff was great. FOOD: 5 STARS We're really into nigiri so it's safe to say we tried a bit of everything. From the regular menu and a bit from the specials. Everything was really fresh. Our favorite was probably the O-Toro and Scallop. The appetizers were also delicious. The creamy tempura shrimp were just the right amount of crispy and creamy. LOCATION: 4.5 STARS Location is great right across the street from the village. I knocked off half of a star because depending on the day and time, parking can be tricky. For the most part you can find metered street parking or valet though. Even though we just went, we're already talking about our next visit here. Totally recommend if you're in the area and looking for high quality sushi.
